LA26LOBDAY: Join us on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge for Social Work Lobby Day 2026! This free event brings together social work students and professionals from across the state to engage in advocacy, learn about the legislative process, and help shape policies that support our profession and the communities we serve. Participants will learn about the advocacy process, and engaging with elected officials. Participants will learn about the goals of NASW-LA for the legislative session. Participants will hear about a variety of issues connected to social work, and learn about how NASW-LA partners and allies work at the legislature. 3.00 General CEU. Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.
