The webinar will cover the current state of appointing justices to the federal court system- including the federal District Courts, Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Supreme Court. The discussion will focus to the diminishing number of nominated and appointed justices who reflect the diversity of the United States, whose judicial philosophies emphasize protecting the human and civil rights of vulnerable and under served population. The webinar will also emphasize the importance of the 2020 national elections to bringing balance to the federal courts.
